Punit Goenka, MD and CEO of ZEEL, revealed plans to create a biographical film honoring the late industrialist Shri Ratan Tata’s extraordinary legacy. The film, produced by ZEE Studios, attempts to highlight his substantial contributions to the Indian economy as well as his positive impact on the world.
Mr. Goenka thinks that Shri Ratan Tata’s extraordinary accomplishments should be celebrated, inspiring the youth in particular, not just in India but throughout the world. ZEE is dedicated to implementing significant measures to bring this vision to life.
R. Gopalan, Chairman of ZEEL said, “The entire board is saddened by the fact that India will miss Mr. Tata. We feel that the film will make a positive impact on the world at large, and we are committed to bringing his story to life in a way that will inspire and motivate audiences.”
The film will be produced by ZEE Studios, with Umesh Bansal, Chief Business Officer, stating, “We are honoured and proud to work on a full-length documentary/biographical film on the life of Shri Ratan Tata Ji. We believe that it is our duty to celebrate such a great personality and his legacy, and we assure that we will leave no stone unturned to give a true account of his contribution and depict his life in a proper manner.”
This project is awaiting TATA Sons’ clearance, however if approved, ZEE Studios intends to contribute the film’s earnings to social causes and benefit those in need. To guarantee that the film reaches a global audience, ZEE Studios will work as a co-producer with WION (World is One News), utilizing its large viewership in over 190 countries to amplify the film’s impact globally.
