Putin to Visit India Soon
Russia announced on Thursday that President Vladimir Putin will soon visit India. Last year, during PM Modi’s visit to Russia, he invited Putin to India. This will be Putin’s first visit to India since the Ukraine war began.
No Fixed Date Yet
Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confirmed that preparations for Putin’s visit are ongoing, though an exact date is yet to be finalized. He stated, "Putin has accepted PM Modi’s invitation to visit India."
Lavrov’s Statement
Lavrov added, "After winning a third term, PM Modi chose Russia for his first foreign visit. Now, it's our turn."
