Neelam Upadhyaya was born in Mumbai. She has one elder brother who is married and based in India. Her brother has a son. Her sister is married to a businessman and based in Australia. Neelam worked in Tamil and Telugu films when starting her showbiz career.
In April this year, the couple’s roka ceremony was held which saw Priyanka also in attendance. She even posted photos from the event on Instagram, featuring Nick and their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.
Neelam Upadhyaya first got the opportunity to act in Seivathu Sariye in 2010 but the film was subsequently shelved. She made her acting debut in the Telugu film Mr 7 in 2012. Next year, she was seen in the 3D Telugu film called Action 3D. Neelam then moved to Tamil cinema and appeared in Unnodu Oru Naal in 2013 and Om Shanthi Om in 2015 opposite Srikanth. However, the films performed below expectations at the Box Office.
In 2018, she was seen in the Telugu movie Tamasha.
