Amitabh Bachchan shared a blog post late at night after attending the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The actor was happy to meet his old friends after a long time. Amitabh attended the grand event with his family, including Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Aishwarya Rai and their granddaughter- Aaradhya.
In his blog, Amitabh expressed his eagerness to share his experience. He wrote, “Yes, the desire and the will to connect even at this unearthly hour—to some, it is time for work…but for me, I need to utilise the time for the Ef connect. Back from a glorious wedding, I feel after a long time the wealth of love and affection with so many old acquaintances.”
Amitabh noted that while his friends may have changed in appearance, their sincerity and affection remained the same. “This is what life is all about…the associations and love and care,” he added.
He also reflected on how the little things that matter to each other remain, while deeper associations are sometimes forgotten but not lost. “It is strange how the little things that matter to each other, remain, but those that had a deeper association or a meaningful spent time, is lost and forgotten…well not really forgotten, but kept on the back burner, and remembered or brought out only when there is required meaning of the association,” he wrote.
Several videos of Amitabh interacting with guests, including Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone, emerged online.
The wedding was a grand event, filled with luxury, tradition, and celebrity glamour. Many Bollywood celebrities and political dignitaries attended. Almost all top Bollywood actors were present, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Tiger Shroff, and Varun Dhawan, many of whom were accompanied by their families. Southern superstars like Rajinikanth, Ram Charan, and Mahesh Babu also attended.
The wedding festivities for Nita and Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son began with an intimate puja ceremony at their Mumbai residence, Antilia, on June 29. This was followed by pre-wedding rituals, including the ‘mameru’ ceremony, sangeet, haldi, and mehendi.
