Vivek Aggarwal (IAS:1994:MP), extra Secretary in the Department of Revenue, will continue to serve as Director of Finance Intelligence Unit (FIU)-India for an extra six months.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (17.10.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the Department of Revenue’s proposal to extend the entrustment of additional charge of the post to Mr. Aggarwal for a period of six months, beginning 30.09.2024 or until further orders.
Aggarwal has held this job in an auxiliary capacity since December 2022, and he has got multiple extensions since then.
