The teaser of Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming movie ‘Chhava’ was released on the big screen with Stree 2 on 15th August. But it was dropped for everyone to see on Monday, 19, August 2024. Vicky is featured in the movie as the powerful Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, son of the legendary Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Vicky Kaushal last took over the internet with his dance moves in the Bad Newz song Tauba Tauba, but he is set to tear down that image with the teaser of his upcoming film Chhaava.
The clip starts with Vicky as Sambhaji Maharaj single-handedly fighting off hundreds of warriors despite being attacked from all fronts, which gets bloody in the end. The teaser then hints at the rivalry he will be fighting against. It ends while showing Vicky sitting on the throne. The actor can be seen flaunting a beefed up physique with a full mane and beard.
The teaser has made its way onto social media, and is winning hearts. Fans already have declared it a hit with the teaser.
Chhaava will release in theatres on 6 December 2024. It is directed by Laxman Utekar, known for his work in films like Mimi (2021) and Luka Chuppi (2019). While Vicky Kaushal will be seen playing Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Rashmika Mandanna will take on the role of Yesubai Bhonsale. It also stars Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in key roles.
