Vicky Kaushal, currently busy promoting his film “Bad Newz,” recently shared memories of meeting his wife Katrina Kaif for the first time in an interview with Raj Shamani.
When asked if he was nervous during their first meeting, Vicky replied, “No, I wasn’t!” He explained, “We met at an awards show where I was hosting. We first spoke backstage before going on stage. That was when I introduced myself to her, and she introduced herself to me.”
Talking about how their relationship evolved from there, Vicky said, “At first, our meetings were unplanned. The first time we talked was during an interview while cameras were rolling. We had each other’s numbers and would randomly run into each other. It wasn’t planned. Some things just happen naturally. Sometimes you realize it’s happening despite all odds, and that’s how it happened. Eventually, we stopped questioning it and committed to it.”
A few days earlier, Vicky Kaushal shared about his first Karwa Chauth with Katrina Kaif. He mentioned that Katrina is meticulous and likes to gather information. Vicky told Film Companion, “I don’t mind fasting. As actors, we’re used to dietary restrictions. But she [Katrina Kaif] likes to look things up. She even Googled when she could see the moon.”
Vicky also explained how he tried to explain to Katrina that Google can’t predict the weather or the moon’s movement. He said, “Google said 8:30 pm, but I told her the moon doesn’t follow Google; it comes when it wants, regardless of predictions.”
