Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah Launches CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal

Shri Amit Shah, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, has made a crucial step to make it easier for residents of rural and distant areas to file claims on the CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal. Common Service Centres (CSCs) will help authentic depositors of Cooperative Societies of Sahara Group file their claims on CRCS- Sahara reimbursement Portal as part of the process of granting reimbursement to them. On July 18, 2023, in New Delhi, Shri Amit Shah introduced the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies (CRCS)-Sahara Refund Portal.

More than 5.5 million Common Service Centres, which are located all across the nation, offer more than 300 e-Services at their Centres, all of which are outfitted with the necessary Internet access, computer, printer, and scanner equipment. When submitting their claims on the CRCS- Sahara Refund Portal, genuine depositors may also seek assistance from their local CSC.

In order to assist the legitimate Sahara depositors, CSC-SPV has informed all of its Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) and enabled its system to make it easier for people to file claims through Common Service Centres.

Genuine depositors of the cooperative societies of the Sahara Group—Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, Hamara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited, and Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited—may submit claims through the CRCS- Sahara Refund Portal. Depositors can also file their claims via the Ministry’s website, https://cooperation.gov.in, via the CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal. For the convenience of the depositors, instructional films are now accessible on the website.
