The National Testing Agency is anticipated to distribute the UGC NET 2024 Admit Card and test city slips shortly. Candidates preparing for the UGC NET can obtain their hall tickets via the official UGC NET website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. When the admission card is released, the link will be shared here.

The UGC NET 2024 test will be administered in CBT mode from August 21 to September 4, 2024, covering 83 courses. The exam will be conducted in two shifts: the first from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and the second from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

NTA has announced that the notification regarding the exam centre city will be posted on the NTA website at least 10 days before the exam.

UGC NET Admit Card 2024: How to Download Hall Tickets

  • Visit the official site: Navigate to ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
  • Access the admission card. On the home page, click the admission card link.
  • Enter login information: Please enter your login credentials.
  • Download the admission card: Download your admission card by clicking on the link provided.
  • Print for future use: Make another copy of the admit card for future reference.

MARKING SCHEME

1. Each question carries 2 mark.
2. For each correct response, the candidate will get 2 marks.
3. There is no negative marking for incorrect response.
4. No marks will be given for questions un-answered/un-attempted/marked for review.
5. To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose one option as the correct option.
6. If a question is found to be incorrect/ambiguous or has multiple correct answers, only those candidates who have attempted the question and chosen one of the correct answers will be given credit.
7. If a question is found to be incorrect and the question is dropped, then two marks (+2) will be awarded only to those candidates who have attempted the question. The reason could be due to human error or technical error.
8. Since there is no negative marking, the candidate needs to choose the most appropriate option as the correct answer.

NTA will conduct UGC-NET in June 2024 for (i) ‘grant of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’, (ii) ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD’, and (iii) ‘admission to PhD solely’ in 83 disciplines via CBT.
