The “Meri Maati Mera Desh Maha Abhiyan” is organising this Kalash Yatra nationwide with the intention of honouring the sacrifices made by the unkillable martyrs. The dirt from the birthplace of the immortal martyrs in Amrit Kalash is being transported to the National Martyrs Memorial in Delhi as part of this yatra.
An ‘Amrit Vatika’ will be established in the vicinity of the National War Memorial as part of the Amrit Kalash Yatra by combining soil and plants from 7,500 urns located all around the nation, according to the official announcement. Launched on August 9th of this year, the statewide “Meri Maati Mera Desh” campaign is an homage to honour freedom fighters who gave their lives for the country.
