On June 28, debris from the tourist submarine that was contributing to the Titanic’s demise, including human remains, was spotted in the North Atlantic. This took place more than seven days after the search for the submarine carrying five people began.
At a news conference on Thursday, the US Coast Guard verified that all five of the passengers had passed away. A remotely operated vehicle discovered the tail cone and more wreckage of the lost submarine about 1,600 feet from the front of the Titanic.
