After the Syrian rebels took over the key states tension increased globally. Syrian government forces have lost control of Daraa, the fourth major city to fall out of government control in just one week.
On Friday (December 6), the Indian government issued a travel advise for Syria, recommending Indian people to avoid any travel to the country until further notice. This warning comes in light of the current situation in Syria, which poses serious hazards to travelers.
“In view of the situation prevailing in Syria, Indian nationals are advised to avoid all travel to Syria, until further notification,” the Ministry of External Affairs said in a press release.
