The updated negative marking guidelines for the SSC SI in the Delhi Police & CAPF Exam 2023 have been issued by the Staff Selection Commission. Candidates can access the official notice on the SSC website at ssc.nic.in.
According to the official notice, the Commission previously advised that there will be negative marking equal to one-third of the marks assigned to the question for each incorrect response in Papers I and II. This notification was published on July 22, 2023.
The standards for negative marking have now been changed, and each incorrect answer in Papers I and II will now result in a deduction of 0.25 marks. The Notice of the aforementioned examination’s other terms and circumstances, however, will not change.
The Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME) will make up the SSC SI in Delhi Police & CAPF Exam 2023. These examination phases are all required. Papers I and II will receive negative marking.
The Commission released a formula to normalise candidate scores in its Notice No. 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07-02-2019. These normalised scores will be utilised to establish the candidates’ final merit and the qualifying score. Re-evaluation or re-checking of the scores is not permitted.
On July 22, 2023, the registration period officially began and ended on August 15, 2023. The window for corrections was open from August 16 until August 17, 2023. Sub-Inspector (GD) positions in CAPFs and Sub-Inspector (Executive) positions in Delhi Police total 1816 open positions that would be filled by this recruitment exercise. In October 2023, the computer-based test will be administered. Candidates can visit the SSC’s official website for further information.
