Tom Holland, a British actor, is really enthused about his upcoming project for Marvel and Sony Pictures, Spider-Man 4. The movie will be released on July 24, 2026.
The Destin Daniel Cretton-directed film will follow the May 1 release of Russos’ Avengers: Doomsday in the same year.
The fourth Spider-Man film is highly anticipated; the last movie grossed over a billion dollars worldwide upon its debut, thanks to the combined star power of Holland and Zendaya, as well as the return of the previous two Spider-Mans, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
Holland recently stated during an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that production will begin next summer.
“Next summer, we start shooting. Everything’s good to go — we’re nearly there. Super exciting. I can’t wait!” the actor shared as the crowd cheered, and host Fallon got up to hug him and congratulate the actor.
In an earlier podcast interview, Tom had said of the film, “One of the things is that, with Marvel, your film is a small cog in a large machine. That machine has got to keep running. You have to make sure you can fit into that timeline at the right time to benefit the bigger picture. That’s one of the challenges we’re facing. The time in which we need to get that done is a tall order but definitely achievable with the people we have working on it now.”
Tom Holland was last seen in the Apple TV Plus miniseries, The Crowded Room.
