Shivraj Singh Chouhan of the BJP stated today that the party will maintain power in the state with a complete majority, only minutes after early polls revealed the BJP had passed the halfway point in the assembly election.
According to preliminary results, the BJP has won 124 of the 230 seats in the legislature. Early polls reveal that the Congress is behind by 100 seats.
“… I am confident that, with the blessings of the people and the capable leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP will form government again with a full majority,” Mr Chouhan said on X, previously known as Twitter.
