Anant Ambani, the younger son of Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, is getting married to Radhika Merchant in a grand ceremony in Mumbai tomorrow. Guests at the wedding are being treated with luxury, staying in five-star hotels and receiving lavish gifts.
In a gesture to celebrate the occasion, Reliance employees also received a special gift box.
Several Reliance employees shared photos and videos on social media of the gift box they received ahead of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding on July 12. The red gift box, adorned with gold lettering, conveys best wishes from Nita and Mukesh Ambani for the wedding, expressing gratitude to the deities. Inside the box are four packets of Haldiram’s namkeen, a box of sweets, and a silver coin. The namkeen includes Haldiram’s aloo bhujia, sev, and lite chiwda.
Tanya Raj, one of the employees, shared a video of the red gift box with the caption, “Perks of working at Reliance.”
Ahead of their son’s wedding, Nita and Mukesh Ambani also organized a mass wedding for 50 couples. Each couple received a cheque for ₹1 lakh, along with gold and silver ornaments, groceries, and household items from the Ambanis.
Guests invited to the wedding earlier received luxury invitations, including a silver “travelling mandir” and a pashmina shawl. The wedding ceremony will be held on July 12, followed by a reception on July 15.
