Samantha Ruth Prabhu is working hard to get Citadel: Hunny Bunny ready for release. But are you aware of the actress’s pricing for the spy thriller? Samantha allegedly received a boost in pay for Citadel, purportedly receiving Rs 10 crore for the web series, if a recent Siasat story is to be believed. News18 Showsha, however, is unable to confirm the veracity of the allegation.
Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden starred in Citadel: Honey Bunny, the Indian series set in the Citadel world. Earlier this year, during a special event hosted by Prime Video, the program was revealed.
Back then, Amazon Prime Video also revealed that these spin-offs will take place in various locations including Spain, Italy, and Mexico, with Priyanka’s series serving as the central hub connecting all the narratives.
Recently, the teaser of Citadel: Hunny Bunny was released when Samantha opened up about working with Varun Dhawan and said, “All he thinks about from the moment he wakes up is how to improve his craft. He’s constantly focused on how to perform each scene better. Not only is he dedicated to his work, but he’s also one of the nicest human beings I’ve ever met.”
“His wonderful sense of humor and positive attitude make sure everyone on set is happy. He’s always smiling, ensuring that there’s never a rough day for anyone around him. In ‘Citadel,’ he has brought a completely new vision to his role, particularly in the action scenes, showcasing a fresh and unique approach,” the actress added.
Besides Varun and Samantha, Citadel: Honey Bunny also stars Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher in key roles. It will be released on November 7 on Prime Video.
