The Chandigarh Administration has undergone a significant organizational reform that includes the reassignment of officials to new departments. Following Ms. Prerna Puri’s appointment to the UT Administration on October 11, 2024, Rupesh Kumar was released of his duties in the Chandigarh Administration on October 18, 2024. Officers have since been issued extra charges in addition to their regular responsibilities.
