Reshuffle Alert: Three Top IAS Officers Move to Prime Minister’s Office

Three IAS officers have been given important roles in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), which is a significant step. The recommendation for their nominations was approved by the Cabinet’s nominations Committee on Thursday.

They are;

  1. Subhasish Panda (IAS:1997:HP) has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Prime Minister’s Office, on lateral shift basis for balance period of his deputation tenure up to 02.01.2027, or until further orders whichever is earlier. Presently, he is posted as Vice Chairman of Delhi Development Authority (DDA) since January 2023.
  2. Reghu G (IAS:2011:OR), presently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been shifted to PMO as Deputy Secretary. His deputation will last until August 2028.
  3. Chandra Mohan Thakur (IAS:2012:MP) has also been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the PMO for a four-year tenure from date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, he is serving in the cadre as MD, MP Building Development Corporation, Bhopal & & Ex-officio Deputy Secretary, MP Environment Department.
