On July 22, 2023, at 10:30 AM through video conference, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will deliver over 70,000 appointment letters to newly enlisted recruits. The Prime Minister will also speak to these new hires at the event.
44 cities across the nation will host the Rozgar Mela. State governments and UTs supporting this programme, as well as departments of the central government, are all recruiting. The new hires, who were chosen from across the nation, will be joining the government in a number of Ministries/Departments, including, among others, the Departments of Revenue, Financial Services, Posts, School Education, Higher Education, Ministry of Defence, Health and Family Welfare, Central Public Sector Undertakings, Water Resources, Personnel & Training, and Home Affairs.
The Rozgar Mela is a step in the direction of the Prime Minister’s promise to give the creation of jobs the highest priority. The Rozgar Mela is anticipated to serve as a catalyst for increased job creation and give young people worthwhile possibilities for empowerment and involvement in national development.
The recently appointed individuals are also given the chance to further their education through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online section of the iGOT Karmayogi platform, where more than 580 e-learning courses are now accessible for “anywhere, any device” learning.
