According to KUNA, Kuwait’s official news agency, he received the prize for fostering closer relations between the two countries.
PM Modi is the first Indian prime leader to visit Kuwait in forty-three years. He arrived on Saturday for a two-day visit.
On Saturday, he met Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah and spoke with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
