PM Modi lauded for Digital Connectivity Revolution at India Mobile Congress

During the seventh edition of the India Mobile Congress on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi received praise from Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited Chairman Akash Ambani for “leading the digital connectivity revolution to connect 1.4 billion Indians” and for “always working on latest technology.”

A vision that motivates a generation to achieve great things is necessary. “My generation has been given an ambitious vision by you, PM Modi, to turn our country into ‘Viksit Bharat’ (developed India),” Akash Ambani said, addressing the crowd at Pragati Maidan in Delhi, which also served as the site of the G20 Summit in September.

JioSpaceFiber, India’s first giga fibre service based on satellite, was unveiled by Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited during the ceremony, allowing consumers to enjoy high-speed broadband services. India had not previously had access to this technology.

At the Mobie Congress, Akash Ambani showed PM Modi the Jio goods and indigenous technology. “Broadband internet is now available to millions of Indian homes and businesses for the first time thanks to Jio.

We reach the millions of people who are still unconnected by extending our coverage with JioSpaceFiber,” he stated. The company claims that the unprecedented satellite-based internet service would be offered at affordable prices throughout the nation.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister also dedicated 100 5G labs, which include the majority of the country’s well-known engineering universities. The event is set to study the cutting edge of technical growth, with a clear focus on 5G expansion, 6G preparations, broadcasting, drone device manufacture, semiconductor production, and sustainable technology, according to a government release. Another major focus of the event will be artificial intelligence.

The event will be a global tech spectacle with over 1,300 delegates and 400 speakers from 31 nations.
