Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s council of ministers meets at the conventional Center Pragati Maidan. PM Modi tweeted, “A fruitful meeting with the council ministers where we exchanged views on various policy-related issues.”
This meeting worked to determine to talk about the vision for 2047 when India will celebrate the centennial of its independence.
Aside from members of the Council of Ministers, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and the chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) were also present during the five-hour meeting.
Following a series of meetings of the ruling BJP’s top brass, there has been increased speculation regarding a Cabinet reshuffle. The possibility that this could be the last opportunity for such an exercise has raised the buzz surrounding the reshuffle because it occurs just before Parliament’s Monsoon Session, which starts on July 20.
