In the context of India’s growing worldwide impact, this Vadodara-based institution has been actively contributing to the country’s international educational footprint through notable joint efforts.
Dr. Preeti Nair, the University’s Director of International Relations, led a comprehensive international expedition across Europe, establishing connections with institutions such as Cambridge University in the United Kingdom, Bern University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland, and others, all of which are dedicated to advancing higher education and fostering strategic relationships.
The expedition’s goals were diverse, including the formation of new alliances, the strengthening of existing cooperation, and the construction of avenues for opportunities for Indian students studying abroad. Parul University remains committed to globalization, with the goal of providing comprehensive intellectual exposure to both students and teachers.
As a result of initiatives spearheaded by delegates like Dr. Nair, the university’s relationships have grown to include over 100 partners from Europe, Canada, the United States, New Zealand, Japan, and Asia.
As part of these worldwide efforts, Parul University’s Director of worldwide Relations attended a global education conference in the Netherlands. This conference provided a forum for interaction with officials from many nations, allowing not only for the deepening of current connections, but also for the investigation of new cooperation in areas not often connected with Indian universities.
Dr. Nair also visited Bern University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland, a long-standing collaborator, on the expedition to strengthen the alliance and explore potential for further programs in Business Management, Social Work, and Architecture.
The internationalization commitment of Parul University fits with the national plan for a global India, exemplifying the principles of “Vasudaiva Kutumbakam” via educational growth. The expedition’s visit to Cambridge University in the United Kingdom was a notable highlight, with conversations on prospective partnerships and academic links taking place. These activities highlight the university’s global portfolio’s emphasis on quality, while also contributing to India’s higher education objectives.
Visits to Nottingham Trent University, Coventry University, and Solent University in the United Kingdom were also part of the expedition, as was a trip to Poland to strengthen existing partnerships and explore new opportunities with Wroclaw University of Science and Technology and Pozna University of Technology.
Dr. Preeti Nair addressed the university’s globalization mission, emphasizing the need for diversity across fields and backgrounds. She went on to say, “As a university, our vision is to ensure the highest level of inclusivity, and we embark on such expeditions to provide a global experience for every student.” The proactive strategy of the university entails the development of active collaborations that result in meaningful academic possibilities for students as well as faculty.
In closing, the University’s President, Dr. Devanshu Patel, emphasized the enormous academic benefits received from their internationalization strategy, stressing collaborative learning, research, and innovation. He went on to say, “Global expeditions are of vital importance in realizing our vision and agenda for taking India’s education to the world.”
