The National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting applications for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), a national-level entrance examination for admission to Management programmes in the country. This Test facilitates AICTE affiliated/participating institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission to the Management courses in affiliated Institutions.
Candidates will be able to submit online applications from March 29 to April 18, 2024, (up to 9.50 pm). The last date for submission of application fees is April 18, 2024 (up to 11.50 pm).
Correction in particulars in the application form can be done from April 19 to 21, 2024. Intimation of cities of exam center’s to be announced later on the website. The date for downloading admit cards from the NTA website is to be announced later on the website.
The exam will be held in May 2024. The duration should be 180 minutes (3 hours). The timing of the examination is to be announced later at exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT/. The language of the paper will be English only.

Eligibility criteria for CMAT-2024
The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Candidates appearing for the final year of their bachelor’s degree, whose results will be declared before the commencement of admission for the academic year 2024-25, can also apply for CMAT-2024. The candidate must be a citizen of India. There is no age restriction for appearing in CMAT- 2024.
Candidates who are desirous of applying for the exam can apply online at https://exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT/ and also pay the applicable fee, online, through the payment gateway using debit/credit cards, net banking & UPI.
The candidates and their parents are advised to keep visiting the NTA website for the latest updates. According to the CMAT website, CMAT-2024 will be a three-hour entrance examination in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode to assess the candidates’ ability across segments such as Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness for admission to the Management courses in the academic session 2024-25.
Candidates must apply separately to the desired CMAT-2024 participating institutions with the CMAT score 2024. Thereafter, each participating institution will release their respective cut-off CMAT scores which a candidate should meet to qualify for admission to that particular institution. Once qualified, the candidate will have to comply with the selection procedure of that particular institution, which may comprise a Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI). The final selection of the candidate will be based on the candidate’s performance in GD & PI.
