At least three more Vande Bharat Express trains will pass through Odisha starting on September 15, according to a Tuesday announcement from Indian Railways. The Tata-Berhampur, Rourkela-Howrah, and Durg-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express are the new trains that will pass through Odisha, according to further information provided by the East Coast Railway.
Currently, three Vande Bharat trains pass through Odisha; once the new ones are operational, the count will rise to six, according to the ECoR.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to launch the first three of these ten trains on September 15.

- Vaishnaw requested Majhi’s presence at the Berhampur railway station to mark the event.

- The Centre has allocated a budget of Rs 10,586 crore for 2024-25 to strengthen railway infrastructure in Odisha.
