The Moto G34 5G, the company’s newest low-cost 5G smartphone, was released in India on Tuesday, January 9. Lenovo owns the brand. In India, the phone is the first product from Motorola for 2024. It has a hole-punch display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. A Snapdragon 695 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage powers the Moto G34 5G.
It features two back cameras, the primary one being a 50-megapixel sensor. The Moto G34 5G has a battery capacity of 5,000mAh. December of last year saw the smartphone’s debut release in the Chinese market.
Moto G34 5G availability and price in India
The base model of the Moto G34 5G, which comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, prices Rs. 10,999 in India. At Rs. 11,999, the top-tier model comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. In order to reduce the effective price of the new smartphone to Rs. 9,999 and Rs. 10,999, respectively, Motorola is giving an exchange incentive of Rs. 1,000. It is available in three colors: ocean green, ice blue, and charcoal black. The back panel of the Green model is finished in vegan leather.
Starting on January 17, the new Moto G34 5G will be available for purchase on Flipkart and at a few local retail locations.
Specifications of the Moto G34 5G
The dual SIM (Nano) Moto G34 5G comes pre-installed with Android 14, but the manufacturer promises an update to Android 15 as well as three years of security upgrades.
It has a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) LCD display with an adjustable refresh rate of 120Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.
The display has a peak brightness of 580nits and a pixel density of 269ppi. The display features Panda Glass protection and a hole punch cutout at the top.
It has 8GB of RAM and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC. With unused storage, the usable RAM may be essentially increased to 16GB.
The Moto G34 5G has two rear cameras: a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and a 50-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, both of which are paired with a single LED flash. With an f/2.4 aperture, the 16-megapixel front camera can capture both selfies and video calls. With the use of a microSD card slot, the 5G smartphone’s 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage may be increased to 1TB.
5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, FM radio, GPS/A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone socket, and a USB Type-C port are among the connectivity choices available on the Moto G34 5G. In addition to supporting face unlock, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. A proximity sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, SAR sensor, sensor hub, and e-compass are among the many sensors on board. It has two stereo speakers that are equipped with Dolby Atmos audio technology.
A 5,000mAh battery with 20W TurboPower (included in the box) charging is included inside the Moto G34 5G. It weighs 179 grams and has dimensions of 162.7×74.6×8 mm. There are 181 grams in the Vegan Leather variant.
