At least 150 shanties were destroyed by a huge fire in a slum region of the nation’s capital, according to Delhi Fire Service authorities. Early on Tuesday, the fire started in Bawana, which is in the outside Delhi region. Around 1:30 am, the fire personnel received the call.

In order to contain the fire, 18 fire engines were dispatched to the scene, according to news agency PTI. Until 7:20 am, the fire had burned for over six hours. According to officials, the fire was caused by a short circuit, and an investigation is now under progress.
The fire reportedly broke out at a chair factory and officials said no one was injured in it.
