The wedding reportedly involved a cash expenditure of Rs 260 crore, and it has been revealed that a significant portion of the payments to the celebrities was made in cash. The ED is investigating possible Hawala (illegal money transfer) connections in this matter.

Chandrakar, in collaboration with his partner Ravi Uppal, operates the betting business through call centers located in Nepal, the Netherlands, UAE, and Sri Lanka, offering platforms for illegal betting on various sports and card games.

Ranbir Kapoor has sought a two-week extension for his appearance before the ED, while Kapil Sharma and Huma Qureshi have also requested extensions for their appearances, further complicating the ongoing investigation into the Mahadev Betting App scam.
