The Kumbh Mela is held periodically in each of these places, depending on certain astrological alignments.

Maha Kumbh Mela 2025: Key Rituals

The festival is scheduled to be substantially larger than the last Maha Kumbh in 2012, with enhanced facilities, safety, and cleanliness to handle millions of pilgrims.
