Google Assistant to Be Phased Out
By the end of this year, Google Assistant will be completely retired, and Gemini will take its place. This change will apply to smartphones, tablets, cars, speakers, and other devices.

Why is Gemini Replacing Google Assistant?
Google says users now expect a more personalized and advanced assistant, and Gemini meets this demand. It is an AI-powered assistant with improved language understanding and reasoning capabilities.

What Will Change?
Most mobile devices will upgrade to Gemini by the end of the year.
Devices with less than 2GB RAM or running Android 10 or older will still support Google Assistant.
Google Assistant will be fully retired, leaving Gemini as the only available assistant.
