On September 26, 2023 at 10:30 AM via video conference, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will distribute roughly 51,000 appointment letters to newly hired candidates. On this day, the Prime Minister will also address the appointments.
46 cities across the nation will host the Rozgar Mela. State governments and UTs supporting this programme, as well as departments of the central government, are all recruiting. The new hires, who were chosen from across the nation, will be joining the government in a number of Ministries/Departments, including the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, the Indian Audit & Accounts Department, the Department of Atomic Energy, the Department of Revenue, and the Department of Higher Education, among others.
The Rozgar Mela is a step in the direction of the Prime Minister’s promise to give the creation of jobs the highest priority. The newly appointed individuals also have the chance to further their education through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online section of the iGOT Karmayogi platform that offers more than 680 e-learning courses for a “anywhere, any device” learning approach.
