Vikas Sethi, a well-known actor from the 2000s for his roles in popular TV dramas such as Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahiin To Hoga, and Kasautii Zindagi Ki, died on September 8 following a cardiac arrest. Vikas was 48 years old and is survived by his wife, Jhanvi Sethi, and twin sons. The actor is said to have died in his sleep.
Vikas was well-known for playing supporting roles in some of the most popular daily soap operas of the 2000s. He also appeared in the third season of Nach Baliye, a dancing reality program, with his then-wife Amita.
Aside from daily operas, Vikas featured in the cult film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, where he played Kareena Kapoor’s buddy Robbie.
The actor appeared in the 2001 film Deewaanapan, alongside Arjun Rampal and Dia Mirza in the key roles. In 2019, he had a prominent role in the Telugu movie ISmart Shankar.
Industry sources told IndiaToday.in that the actor was going through a depression and was facing financial troubles. A while ago, he had turned a producer and launched the production house, CK pictures.
