The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will initiate the counselling process for the NEET UG 2024 in the first week of July. After which the students who appeared for the exam and qualified will be able to take admissions to the allotted medical colleges.
The MCC will begin the counselling process from July 6, 2024, onwards, the schedule for the counselling will be released by the authority on or before July 6.
Eligibility
Candidates must have qualified in the NEET UG 2024 exam to be eligible to participate in NEET UG counselling and must also secure a minimum percentile score. The eligible score will be decided according to the reservation provided to students under the general, SC, ST, and OBC categories.
The eligibility will also include the marks score in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects in class XII.
Documents for Counselling
The documents that are required for the counselling process are as follows.
1. NEET UG 2024 Scorecard
2. Class XII sheet and certificate
3. Character certificate from the school
4. Migration certificate
5. Category certificate
6. Passport-sized photographs
7. Photo ID proof
The NEET UG counselling process typically involves several rounds such as registration, choice filling and locking, seat allocation and finally reporting to the allotted college.
