The Karnataka government will mark three days of mourning in remembrance of former Chief Minister SM Krishna, who died of a protracted illness at the age of 92. There won’t be any events or festivities during this time, and his final rites will be performed with full state honors.
According to his family, Krishna, 92, passed away at his Bengaluru home early on Tuesday morning after suffering from a long-term illness, PTI said.
The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today condoled the passing of Shri SM Krishna, former Chief Minister of Karnataka. Shri Modi hailed him as a remarkable leader known for his focus on infrastructural development in Karnataka.
