Kangana Ranaut’s Appeal to Audiences Sparks Internet Reactions as ‘Tejas’ Hits Theaters

Kangana Ranaut, whose film Tejas is currently showing in theaters, recently shared a video urging the audience to support the film by watching it on the big screen. She made a plea for the return of community viewing in cinemas, emphasizing the importance of this cultural tradition. Kangana compared Tejas to popular films like Uri, Mary Kom, and Neerja, suggesting that those who enjoyed these movies would also appreciate her latest work.

However, her appeal received mixed reactions on the internet. Some pointed out that audiences were already flocking to theaters for films like Gadar 2, Rocky Aur Rani ki Prem Kahaani, Pathaan, and Jawan, implying that the audience was selective in their choices. Others criticized Kangana’s stance and noted the irony of her plea, given her history of advocating for boycotting Bollywood. Tejas itself had a lukewarm opening day at the box office, collecting approximately ₹1.25 crore, according to early estimates.

Tejas, directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, features Kangana Ranaut in a lead role alongside Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, and other actors.
