Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has announced an updated schedule for the PhD program through the admission test for the academic year 2023-24. The official announcement lists essential dates for those who wish to apply for admission.
The timetable includes dates for the publishing of the initial merit lists, pre-enrollment registration, and fee payment, as well as the blocking of seats from the merit lists and deadline. More information about the timetable is accessible on JNU’s official website, jnu.ac.in.
According to the timetable, the first merit list will be released on January 11, 2023. Candidates must block seats and pay fees for the first merit list by January 11, 12, and 13, 2024. The institution will issue the second merit list on January 18, 2024, and pre-enrolment registration and payment of fees with blocking of seats of the second list has to be done between January 18 and 19, 2024 (tentatively).
After reserving seats for the second list by January 22, 2024, the chosen applicants will need to complete the physical verification procedure for admission and registration. The third and final merit lists will be released on January 29, 2024. The chosen applicants must complete the pre-enrolment registration and pay the price for the third merit list between January 29 and 30, 2024.
The physical verification of admission/registration for the final list of chosen candidates is scheduled on February 1, 2024.
According to the program, the deadline for completing the admission or registration process is February 9, 2024.
