Breaking the Fast: Paran in Jitiya Vrat 2024
The fast-breaking ritual, or Paran, traditionally takes place on the third day. After bathing on Ashtami, devotees offer water to the Sun God as an act of gratitude. The customary food during Paran includes ragi roti, sponge gourd, noni greens, and rice. This year, Paran will occur on Thursday, 26th September 2024, between 4:35 AM and 5:23 AM.
