The University of Delhi’s Janki Devi Memorial College has formed partnerships with many universities in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The DU college has reached academic agreements with the Samarkand State Institute of Economics and Service and Oriental University. Janki Devi Memorial College aims to establish an enriched educational atmosphere that fosters cross-cultural understanding and prepares students for global achievement in an interconnected the world.
On January 8, 2024, Prof. Swati Pal, Principal of Janki Devi Memorial College in Delhi, signed agreements with Dr. Aslanova Dilbar Hasanovna, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation at the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, and Prof (Dr.) Murodjon Akhmedov, Rector at Oriental University.
The agreements are designed to facilitate the exchange of information and academic materials of mutual interest. Furthermore, this collaboration will promote the exchange of faculty members, administrative and research staff, visiting scholars, and students, among others, Janki Devi Memorial College statement said.
As the institute continues to expand its horizons, these collaborations are poised to bring about meaningful exchanges, contributing to the holistic development of students, and enhancing the institute’s standing on the global stage, the DU College statement said.
