Jammu University secures A++ Grade in NAAC

According to authorities, the University of Jammu has reached a significant milestone by earning the coveted A++ grade in the National Assessment and certification Council (NAAC) certification. The university’s remarkable cumulative grade point average (CGPA) was 3.72 on a four-point scale.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has congratulated the university’s academics, students, teachers, staff, and vice-chancellor on this outstanding accomplishment.

“Compared to the university’s A+ rating and CGPA of 3.51 from the previous accrediting cycle (Cycle III), this represents a major increase. With great delight in the achievement, Vice-Chancellor Umesh Rai stated, “It reflects the institution’s dedication to quality sustenance and enhancement.”

“The A++ grade is a testament to the unwavering commitment of our faculty, officers, staff, scholars, students, and alumni,” Rai said, attributing the achievement to the combined efforts of the university community. It represents our common goal of making the University of Jammu a world center for outstanding teaching and research.

He also outlined a number of revolutionary projects, such as encouraging multidisciplinary research, fortifying scholarly frameworks, and implementing best practices.

In addition, Rai emphasized that this accomplishment signifies the start of new goals for the university to raise the bar in higher education. “This recognition by NAAC is not just a milestone but a motivation to further our commitment to quality, innovation, inclusivity, and societal impact,” she said.
