Ashneer Grover, a former co-founder of the fintech business BharatPe, and the company have finalized their agreement. The agreement brought an end to their long-running legal battle. Grover will no longer retain any shares in BharatPe and will no longer be connected to the company in any capacity as a result of the settlement.
A BharatPe representative stated that Grover’s shares would either be transferred to the Resilient Growth Trust, which would benefit the company, or maintained by his family trust. Additionally, the parties have decided to end any pending legal actions against each other.
In a statement, BharatPe extended its best wishes to Grover, saying, “We wish Mr. Grover the best for his future. BharatPe remains focused on providing top-notch solutions to its merchants and customers, while also driving growth and profitability.”
