iPhone 16 Pro Faces Major Problems

Apple iPhone 16 Pro, the recently released flagship smartphone around the world, is reportedly experiencing touch responsiveness issues.

Users who recently received the iPhone have reported screen lags. Apple had not acknowledged the issues at the time of writing this article.

iPhone 16 Pro Touch Issues:

iPhone users are reporting that taps and swipes are being ignored, causing problems with scrolling, dragging, and typing. Users are also reporting issues with the virtual keyboard, including missed presses. According to the 9To5Mac report, the problem appears to be a software bug, not a hardware defect. The report also stated that iOS’s accidental touch rejection algorithm is overly sensitive, causing touches to be ignored.

According to the reports, users cause the system to reject touches by making unintentional contact with other parts of the screen. Some users reported the problem when their finger was resting near the Camera Control button, but the report indicates that the problem appears to affect all four screen edges equally.

When this happens, the iPhone’s software ignores all touch on the screen for a short period of time. This could be the cause of missed taps and swipes, with the iPhone 16 Pro’s ‘thinner-than-ever screen bezels’ being particularly affected.

The problem occurs when a user naturally grips the iPhone with their fingers around their body, which is most common when it is used without a case because fingers are more likely to rest unintentionally over the slim screen borders.

According to reports, the issue does not occur when the device is idle on the lock screen. It only happens when the phone is unlocked, such as when you scroll or swipe through applications. It is expected to be resolved with a software update.
