The poaching war between leading IT corporations has erupted, with Infosys accusing Cognizant of unethical poaching techniques, according to Moneycontrol.
Infosys’ case follows that of its cross-town competitor Wipro, which sued two of its former executives who recently joined Nasdaq-listed Cognizant.
According to the source, Infosys delivered a written letter to Cognizant following the departure of many key executives. “Non-compete clauses are not enforceable, but this communication to Cognizant was more of a deterrent,” one of the sources said.
Meanwhile, according to a second source, the email was sent some weeks ago.
