Former CM Mayawati launched a sharp attack on Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav.
UP Politics: BSP chief Mayawati targeted Akhilesh Yadav over the attack on SP MP Ramji Lal Suman's house. She referred to a 30-year-old incident on the social media platform 'X' and demanded an apology from Akhilesh.
Mayawati wrote that, in addition to the Agra incident, Akhilesh Yadav should also remember the attack on her during the Lucknow State Guest House incident on June 2, 1995, and seek repentance for it.
She accused the SP of the oppression of Dalits, saying the party should stop using the Agra incident as a cover for political gains.
Earlier, Mayawati had also accused the SP of using Dalit leaders for political purposes. She warned Dalits to be cautious of the SP's tactics and stated that politics that disrupts social harmony is not acceptable.
