INDIA Bloc Unveils Jharkhand Poll Manifesto with Big Promises: Jobs & Health Cover

Chief Minister Hemant Soren, along with Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and other INDIA bloc partners, on Tuesday unveiled a joint manifesto for the Jharkhand Assembly elections, promising 10 lakh jobs for youth and health insurance coverage of up to Rs 15 lakh for the poor.

The newly presented manifesto, named ‘Nyay Patra’, promises seven guarantees for the people of Jharkhand.

“In elections, it is important to tell voters why they should vote in favour of a particular party. Keeping this in view, the leaders of the INDIA bloc are present here. We are presenting before you 7 guarantees regarding what we will carry forward in the government that comes after the elections,” Hemant Soren said during an election rally in Ranchi, which was also attended by leaders of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Communist Party of India (Marxist).

Meanwhile, the Congress president stated that the INDIA bloc has already honored our pledges and would continue to do so in the future.

“Today, the INDIA alliance has set seven promises before you for the public. We have already met our guarantees and will continue to do so in the future. PM Modi came here yesterday and named me in his speech, claiming that there is no faith in Congress’ commitment. However, the public is aware that Congress follows through on whatever promises it makes. There is no faith left in Modi’s promise. “He has never been able to keep his promise,” Kharge stated.
