CII and MIT-ADT Universities joined together – Pune

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and MIT Art, Design, and Technology University in Pune, India, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a key milestone. On Wednesday, July 5, 2023, the ceremony was held at MIT’s Art, Design, and Technology University.

The Memorandum of Understanding between CII and MIT’s art and technology universities includes a number of programmes aimed at supporting students’ holistic development and active participation in society.

This strategic partnership aims to develop students’ leadership skills, encourage community engagement and social responsibility, foster innovation and entrepreneurship, provide platforms for knowledge exchange and inspiration, raise awareness about critical social issues, and encourage active participation in civic processes.

CII and MIT’s art, design, and technology universities hope to empower students by unlocking their leadership potential and contributing to the benefit of society through this relationship.

Prof. Dr. Mangesh Karad signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between MIT Art, Design, and Technology University and the CII’s Young Indians project, stressing the collaboration’s potential for student growth. MIT-ADT University is a forerunner in higher education, with great facilities and welcoming learning environments.

MIT-ADT University is a destination for next-generation learning and workforce development, featuring partnerships with leading enterprises, incubation centres, maker spaces, and innovation labs. Prof. Bharat Oswal, YI Chapter YUVA Chair CII, introduced CII and expressed contentment with the collaboration under the YUVA programme of MIT Art, Design, and Technology University. The alliance intends to instill leadership skills, strengthen the youth entrepreneurship environment, and empower youth-led nation-building activities.

Prof. Oswal applauded MIT-ADT University’s ranking among India’s top 30 universities and entrepreneurship in the NIRF Ranking. The primary goal of the MoU, according to Prof. Dr. Suraj Bhoyar, Director of Student Affairs, is to promote research initiatives, innovation, entrepreneurial activity, and mentoring services for students. MIT-ADT University is dedicated to developing entrepreneurs and future leaders.
