With 1036 job offers and 963 accepted offers in just seven days, IIT Kanpur has achieved a noteworthy milestone in its maiden placement round. 22 students have received significant overseas offers, demonstrating how successfully the institute nurtures potential. Google, Microsoft, Qualcomm, FedEx, Intel, BPCL, Reliance, and Deutsche Bank are among the companies hiring this year, underscoring IIT Kanpur’s solid reputation in the sector.
Professor Manindra Agrawal, Director of IIT Kanpur, credited the Students’ Placement Office (SPO) for its continuous efforts. “Strengthening alumni ties, engaging with startups, and expanding outreach to new recruiters have been pivotal,” he said.
Similarly, Professor Raju Kumar Gupta, SPO Chairperson, noted how this year’s success reflects the institute’s strategy of exploring opportunities in emerging industries and building new connections.
