In January 2024, IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi launched its inaugural Master of Technology (MTech) program focused on Energy Transition and Sustainability. Prime Minister Modi met with members of the initial MTech cohort during his visit to Abu Dhabi in February of this year.
In addition, IIT Delhi inked a number of significant Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with prominent Abu Dhabi establishments, such as Sorbonne University-Abu Dhabi, Khalifa University, Zayed University, and Mohammed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), at the opening. It is anticipated that these relationships would strengthen Abu Dhabi’s academic and scientific environment and create alliances that assist cutting-edge research and local firms.
