IIT Delhi has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with R Systems International Limited, an IT service management firm, to establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) on Applied AI for Sustainable Systems.
This new center will be established on the Indian Institute of Technology’s Delhi campus and will comprise a cutting-edge research facility, an endowed academic chair position, and the establishment of merit-based student scholarships.
The R Systems CoE will act as an R&D center for this collaboration, bringing together academics, students, and R System researchers to tackle large-scale real-world issues. This CoE’s effort is anticipated to improve both their research and development skills.
“We are delighted to announce the establishment of the R System CoE at IIT Delhi. Sustainable computing and systems will be critically important in the future. Our collaboration with R Systems will result in the development of innovative approaches and cutting-edge AI techniques for sustainable computing”, said Prof. Rangan Banerjee, Director, IIT Delhi.
