IIT Delhi Launches Executive Programme in Healthcare Entrepreneurship and Management

IIT Delhi has launched an Executive Programme in Healthcare Entrepreneurship and Management. As part of its Continuing Education training (CEP), this training will provide professionals with the skills and information they need to capitalize on healthcare entrepreneurship prospects.

The executive course, which lasts five months, comprises 80 hours of synchronous live online lectures and more than 40 hours of project work. It discusses cutting-edge prototype creation procedures, tools, and testing methodologies, emphasizing the importance of AI/ML in navigating the corporate landscape.

The program is intended for a wide range of audiences, including graduates who want to be a part of India’s healthcare ecosystem or start their own healthcare enterprises, doctors, biomedical/biotech/interdisciplinary engineers, researchers, medical professionals, and postgraduate students learning healthcare.

According to IIT-Delhi, students will follow a comprehensive curriculum that includes vital themes such as product branding, pricing, sales, commercialization, and management ideas linked to business model creation, finance, and intellectual property.

Major Highlights:

  1. After successfully completing the course, CEP, IIT Delhi will provide a certificate of completion.
  2. Ability for learning from any location.
  3. Learn from IIT Delhi’s eminent teachers, industry leaders, healthcare entrepreneurs, and AIIMS physicians.
  4. In-depth curriculum encompassing a wide range of principles and applications, as well as hands-on projects to provide practical experience.
  5. Networking chances with like-minded people to enhance relationship building.
  6. Access to beginning help for further support along the educational experience.

The Executive Programme is scheduled to begin on April 6, 2024. Interested applicants may register until March 31, 2024. The fees for the programme are Rs 1.10 lakh plus GST.

Dr Arnab Chanda and Dr Biswarup Mukherjee, program coordinators and faculty members at IIT Delhi’s Center for Biomedical Engineering and joint faculty at AIIMS Delhi’s Department of Biomedical Engineering, stated, “In the ever-changing healthcare landscape, professionals must stay at the forefront of innovation.” This program is intended to provide learners with the information and skills required to negotiate the intricacies of the healthcare business and effect significant change.”
